Question to everyone. If you take away the Rolex name and the so called resale value. I say so called because I feel the resale value,he is only as good as what someone is willing to pay you for it. Are you really getting that much watch to justify paying $5000.00 more for a submariner? I do feel and never have felt that all people who purchase Tudor do so because they can’t afford a Rolex. I think some of the Tudor growth is because of loyal followers, the unavailability of Rolex and now Tudor are basically putting out some great watches. If you are truly not purchasing a Rolex for the perception, are you really getting that much more watch for $5k more if you are comparing this watch and a no date submariner.

IWC aquatimers are a more appropriate comparator than the nautilus, which aside from a vaguely aquatic name has no dive features.
